⚡️🚨 NEW - Samsung will integrate stablecoins directly into Samsung Wallet on 82 million Galaxy devices in the United States, using Solana as the underlying infrastructure.
Starting in the last week of October, eligible users will be able to send USDC from Samsung Wallet to compatible wallets abroad, without having to install an additional crypto app or manage their private keys themselves.
Transfers to bank accounts will also be available in more than 60 countries.
Solana will be among the blockchain infrastructures used for these transfers, alongside other technical partners.
USDC funds will be secured via Bastion and Coinbase Prime, while Samsung clarifies that it will not directly hold users’ assets.
