Believing in automation?

Believing in automation as the solution to the age-old malediction of work would be trying to address a social issue by technical means (actually, this is what CRYPTOANARCHY has been doing since 1996)

Fully automated production (including huge classical computer networks) requires so much raw material and energy that overextending it would be wasting even more resources than contemporary industry does. Better to wait for hybrid to bed-in.

Secondly and more importantly, the human species no longer collectively creates and transforms the means of its existence.

The industrial revolution made a road to serfdom.  We became an economy, not a society. In order to create a new cybernetic a new global polity is required. The grasping at that has barely started and the present left-liberal futarchist hegemony is under increasing pressure. The situation is excellent.
