No Beliefs

Except one - that beliefs are not necessary or desirable

‘eliminative materialism’, posits that, just as modern biochemistry has no need for spirits, a modern scientific framework for understanding human behaviour should move beyond such immaterial concepts as ‘belief’

Cryptoanarchist Eliminativism about this class of believing entities is the view that any class of religious and spiritual entities does not exist. And if it ever did it would have to be eliminated.

COMMON OR GARDEN materialism tends to be eliminativist about the soul; modern chemists are eliminativist about phlogiston; modern biologists are eliminativist about élan vital; and modern physicists are eliminativist about luminiferous ether.

CRYPTOANARCHIST ELIMINATORS DISPOSE OF THEM ALL.

Various arguments have been made for and against eliminative materialism over the last 50 years. The view's history can be traced to David Hume, who rejected the idea of the "self" on the grounds that it was not based on any impression.

Max Stirner rejected most immaterial things as ' spooks' .

Occams Razor was revived in France ( By De Sade ) and Scotland.

"The urge to destroy is also a creative urge.”

― Mikhail Bakunin

Pytor Kropotkin eliminated much Social Darwinism then prevalent.

The later Ludwig Wittgenstein was also an important inspiration for eliminativism, particularly with his attack on "private objects" as "grammatical fictions".

Errico Malatesta argued anarchists eliminate terms like ' Socialist " and " Communist " .
