We will all be noting the sad anniversary of October 7, 2023 and the brutal Hamas attack that day on Southern Israel that resulted in over a thousand deaths, as well as numerous rapes and kidnappings; the worse day of violence against Jews since the Holocaust. That attack gave Israeli PM Netanyahu the justification, in his twisted mind, for the past three years of vicious assaults against Gaza, The West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran.
There is certainly nothing to “celebrate” about October 7th. It was a tragedy that gave birth to a hundred-thousand more tragedies. Yet some misguided individuals have called for events to celebrate October 7th.
There are four such events on The West Coast of the U.S. alone - Seattle, Portland, L.A., and San Jose.
