Turning everything, including ourselves, into numbers is being misrepresented as a bad bargain.

But there is also a saying called "you can't fight city hall". If our global City hall dictates a transformation of our entire polity to darkness and dust while delivering a better standard of living for all - for billions of years- well isn't that just?
And in return for quantum gravity we already get this singular unique universe to live in.
Few complain about that. Even as dark matter paperclips continue to pile up.
