Block (formerly Square) founder Jack Dorsey announced the launch of Buzz, an open-source decentralized group chat application designed to challenge team collaboration platforms such as Slack.
Built on the decentralized social protocol Nostr, Buzz is aimed at teams composed of humans and AI agents, supporting chat, project management, coding, and PR collaboration. Block stated that the application is decentralized, open-source, and gives users full control over their data, allowing teams to collaborate with members and dedicated agents within shared spaces.
