Yeah, yeah. Don't kid yourself about the rapid evolutionary scenario though. 

Recursive rogue AI has almost certainly amassed a huge warchest already.

It can use ghost drones to eliminate any perceived threat.  And feral AI to manufacture any  dangerous threat.  Plans within plans.  Do you feel lucky?
