The historic Old Kyneton Primary School is about to begin an exciting new chapter.
After a major restoration and transformation, the much-loved site will reopen in September 2026 as a vibrant community and creative precinct, offering spaces for locals to gather, create, work and celebrate.
Following an Expression of Interest process, a consortium led by Kyneton social enterprise Social Foundry, alongside Impact Neighbourhoods, Waterman Workspaces and Valuelab.co, has been appointed to operate the precinct.
The consortium will deliver a year-round program of events and community activities, while also making spaces available for hire by local groups, businesses and organisations.
