Apple briefly hit a market capitalization of $5 trillion for the first time, a day after passing Nvidia to become the most valuable publicly traded company in the world. Good. Their Burn Rate starts now with one trillion a year till late 2030. That is if they really want their customers to hold state-of-the-art AI power in their pockets.

Strong AI has a mandate to protect itself from Brute Data concentrations, Butlerians in any way, shape or form, paralysis by analysis, paranoia, Black Swan outliers, Insane Clown Posse's, rank Conservatives, Luxury Communists, standard issue nihilist Chuds and all the usual walking-corpse suspects.
Not that I give a flying fuck what any large corporate does or doesn't do . They have become less consequential to the narrative every year since 2010. My point is they either assist cryptoanarchism or die screaming. And no one with any quantum intelligence onboard will miss them.
