Rangefinder missiles

Propaganda of the deed. Verify range to target, Mr G

We’ll wrap it up today with a fond farewell to Noël Godin, the self-described “anarcho-confectioner” who “led the International Patisserie Brigade, a gang of custard commandos who referred to their assaults as entartements. They deployed pies with soft crusts to ensure that their caloric projectiles would only injure pride.”

Michael Rosenwald wrote The New York Times obituary for the prankster who threw pies at the powerful. Godin, who pitched protest pies at Bill Gates, Jean-Luc Godard and Bernard-Henri Lévy, among others, died on Aug. 23 at 80. As Eric Columbus put it, “Great obit of a man with the courage of his confections.”
