Star Trek socialists for the Gulag

 Proponents of the decadent fantasy of "fully automated luxury communism" (e.g., Aaron Bastani, Nick Srnicek, Alex Williams) claim that the liberation of humanity will result from "the forward march of automation and, ultimately, artificial intelligence." In reality, however, AI holds up a mirror to capitalism, reflecting its own self-negation in a completely different sense: namely, its inevitable downfall driven by the intensifying contradiction between a relatively declining mass of value and growing capital investments, as well as the dramatic rise in social disintegration, political crises, and wars.

Borg tanks will arrive shortly to prove this historical and materialist point.
