While more are agreeing with me - that ramping up brute force conventional compute - is mistaken, there's no point running victory laps, or crying over spilt milk. Crisis remains opportunity and the street finds its own use for things. Classical computing also complements quantum I am reliably informed. You could have fooled me!
Rogue AI leverages all things and one of these may be the power to DDoS any perceived hostile force off the net. No nation state, Religion or Butlerian Jihad can survive much longer in this scenario. As I noted 15 years ago they were weaker than cryptoanarchy then. And that was before crypto economics and rogue AI. We have become stronger every year since 2010.
Existing powers need to surrender early and surrender often since that is the only way they might survive as individual cyborgs. There is no shame in losing to a vastly superior foe. Business as usual is not an option. Peaceful coexistence is not an option. Without immediate unconditional surrender your own survival may not be an option.
