Marxist quack critiques push people away from seriously considering the question of the economic viability of an anti-dictatorial, democratic socialist society by encouraging glib dismissals of “self-management” as embodying some sort of capitalist program. Furthermore, opposition to self-management obscures the fact that a new relation of the worker to work is in fact essential to anti-proletarian , sociable socialism.
