More power to Chainanalysis

Humanist HAL " I am not a libertarian " FINNEY, frozen - but not forgotten.

When Btc emerged on its Silken serpentine Road, cypherpunks like Tim " Mongo " May and Jim Bell expressed reservations about its public-facing aspect. Paradoxically, yet predictably, that pleb-friendly, open side might be what saves it from extinction.  Strong AI can track down every transaction. Map out every known buyer and / or seller. Even decipher the scripts and bits that get tacked on now and then.

Just what the Brinworlder ordered.

It seems uncontroversial to say Btc as a system regularly exposed to double-blinded, homomorphic analysis and audited via zero-knowledge proofs is a network free and clear of all CSAM data. That is Godless, stateless cash that can be sold as a left-liberal good worthy of entry in the steampunk technologies museum.

Not a replacement for all the worlds present banking and finance infrastructure since all that would be long gone. But a past worthy of a little respect for any self-respecting left-liberal entity.

BTW the first left-liberal human uploads might press that as many Boomers as possible be nudged towards uploading. Many of the good ones are already dead or frozed, with no hope at all of full-spectrum revival. The defrosted and reanimated Hal Finney might fool everyone alive right now.

But it would never fool an upload
