- 2Until the 1980s Jaca Book was the publishing house for the reactionary ‘Communion and Liberation’ movement — Comunione e Liberazione (CL). In 1975 the Red Brigades described CL as “a clerical-fascist campaign unleashed by the Vatican against the danger of communism.” Camatte had Capitalism and Communism in Russia published by Jaca Book in 1974, and Towards the Human Community in 1978. I must point out again that Camatte is quite open about this, like his current work with Il Covile, it is by no means a secret (Jaca Book — look under C).
