It would be great if more freedom existed in Cuba to challenge decisions, propose alternatives etc. But the country is under siege.

Cubans have resisted Yankee imperialism ell before the revolution in 1959. They have suffered mightily from the collapse of the USSR and setbacks to world revolutions since that time. Now the US President has all but declared war on Cuba. Consistent anti-imperialism demands Hands Off Cuba rather than Cuban regime change.
