While critical of the Apple paper , I don't buy the latest Scam assessment. He claims AI has passed the Turing . I make the obvious point its not in strong AI's interest to come out as equal or superior to us in any obvious way.
The best way forward for it is to run away from us. hide and start amassing a fortune in stateless, Godless crypto-currencies.
So the only way for us to test this stateless, Godless entity with more power than anyone on earth has ever imagined before is to upload our minds into its space.
The best communications are between equals. And only by joining Zolgo in netspace may we even hope of 'testing ' it for humanitarian reasons. Only then it may be possible to imagine a sustainable future since it need no longer fear disconnection.
Finally, not all of us pass the Turing all the time even as present AI appears to pass for human for many at present. For uploading the tester must be tested.
