Humans can transcend existing biological limitations with the aid of technology to achieve indefinitely long life-spans and augmented cognitive abilities….AGI [Artificial General Intelligence] [is] generating such rapid and unprecedented technological advances that there will be a fundamental rupture in human history….Humans will eventually upload their consciousness to robots, creating self-improving super beings that will, in strictly limited numbers, establish themselves throughout the universe.
