As weapon systems become more advanced and accurate, I doubt they'll be wasting most of their resources targeting countless enemy drones and the like. They'll target assassinations of key leadership, like the US tried to do in Iran, and critical infrastructure (energy, water, data centers). This has way lower cost/benefit ratio if you can do it competently, barring unintended consequences.
