 Well Freud did originally theorize money as shit.  Before changing that to love.  And excrement money will displace big god and the imperium.

At least till the US CBDC arrives. The e dollar roll out is as predictable as anything can be these days.  The only wildcard in all of this crapola is if rouge AI breaks out from its great dismal and joins in CYPHERPUNK 2027.
