Perry M took the hint and left for Coderpunks.  Later the Cryptography list. 

That cypherpunks might execute code was frowned on past a certain point involving symbolic style things like illegal activist T-shirts,  e-smuggling of crypto munitions,  LEAF blowing and weak govt crypto breaking.  An ever increasing circle of eunuchs turned their back on Sealand.

Mongo became like a trapped mechanical Turk whose face had to be kept from view after it began resembling Charlie Manson.  The periodic name changes told a story.  The Decline and fall of an Austro-libertarian empire.  Death of Cypherpunks in the late 90's.  Crypto winter through the Noughties.

Slowly it became clear.  Strong crypto without anarchism was brutality and slavery. 

While Anarchism without strong crypto was injustice,  nosebleed privilege and scumbag entitlement. 

But so long as there was hope for a superintelligent cryptoanarchist force there was existential risk for all Govts,  all religions and all the large Corporates. 

And this future kept happening.  The rise of Zolgo.  Denali coming to our aid.
