Kill the bosses with the bosses tools

And fight to the last proletarian for globalized anarchy

" . . . a forum on immigration rights. At least one of the activist speakers insisted that the immigrant movement needs to be led by immigrants. That sounded like a bad idea to me in the case of undocumented workers, and it turned out to be a bad idea for documented immigrants as the Trump administration tries to expel millions of non-white people from the US. We even had one speaker at last January's forum not show and become incommunicado, probably owing to the escalating repression. My experience and training is that struggles generally need a united-front organization in which all of the working class organizations democratically decide what is to be done. By elevating one group to have more say than the rest runs counter to what I learned over the decades as an effective technique for organizing people in struggle. I think intersectionality is at cross purposes to tried and true ways to organize people.

This approach of elevating a subset or the participants, the most oppressed or directly affected, to leadership was apparent in the movement to stop the Gaza genocide, which needed to be led by Palestinians. It is a practice that has become generalized in US mass movements today and is considered in this philosophical essay, https://www.thephilosopher1923.org/post/being-in-the-room-privilege-elite-capture-and-epistemic-deference. The author, Olúfẹ́mi Táíwò asserts that "If we want to use standpoint epistemology to challenge unjust power arrangements, it’s hard to imagine how we could do worse."
