⚡️🚨 NEW - Court documents reveal new details of Coinbase data breach.
Ashita Mishra, an employee of Coinbase's outsourced customer service company in India, stole sensitive customer information, including social security numbers and bank account details, starting in September 2024.
It then sold the stolen data to hackers for $200 per piece of information, who used it to impersonate Coinbase employees and defraud users.
Over 69,000 customers were reportedly affected.
The brains behind this bribery scheme appear to be twenty-somethings who belong to a hacker collective called "the Comm".

Coinbase recently merged all its operations with the pentagon in general and Palantir in particular.
