Mt Obscurantist errupts

The eruption of Mount Tambora in April 1815 was the most powerful volcanic blast in recorded history. It expelled an estimated 100 cubic kilometers (24 cubic miles) of gases, dust, and rock into the atmosphere, leading to a significant drop in global temperatures and causing widespread climate disruption. The eruption's effects were felt globally, leading to extreme weather events, crop failures, and famine, particularly in Europe and North America. The year 1816 is often referred to as "The Year Without a Summer" due to the severe weather conditions that resulted from the eruption.

And in related news Karl Marx was born on May 5, 1818.
