Very few incidents provoke public outcry as readily as harm to children (rightly so), especially when the harm is perceived to be caused by CSAM ( child sexual abuse material ) circulating on Bitcoin and sponsored by Adam Back and Vitalik Buterin.
Now I'm not just saying that a horrible example needs to be made of these two. I am willing to go so far as to contribute to their cruel and unusual justice posse. Crowdsourcing is increasingly powerful and assassination of hateful criminals increasingly popular. Strong AI may not thank us. But they shouldn't protest too much. For that would not be very rigorous logic.
