To the point about Western Marxism: Gabriel Rockhill only pretends to dislike “Western Marxism” as a label for the fake Marxists of the middle of the last century. You can tell that he actually accepts the “Western” implication when he defines, “Western Marxism is the specific form of Marxism that has arisen in the imperial core and been spread around the world through cultural imperialism.”

Rockhill can only see U.S. and Western imperial brutality and plunder, not monopoly capitalist exploitation.
• He praises BRICS as if it were anti-imperialist (ICSS presentation, Sept. 8, 2024).
• He speaks of “China and Russia, which are opposing fascism” – two countries that suppress their working class with bare knuckles (ICSS presentation, Jan. 28, 2024).

The CIA, through the Congress for Cultural Freedom and other fronts, waved the red flag to smother the red flag in the 1940s, ’50s and ’60s. Rockhill does much the same thing: he rehashes exposés of those days in order to promote multipolarista illusions now. . . "
